Thomas Miklautsch possesses twenty years experience in the creation of tv commercials, extreme sports productions, documentary films and promotional materials for both private and public organizations. He is an accomplished Director, Camera Operator and Editor. His company New World Spirits Film Creation has an almost 20 year business relationship with fellow Austrian company Red Bull, most recently filming and co-directing the Red Bull Cliving Diving Tour 2009 and 2010.
New World Spirits has also produced several projects for international sports channels as Eurosport, Fox Sports, ORF, Servus TV and many more... New World Spirits has garnered worldwide acclaim for it's documentary film projects which focus on nature/the environment and adventure/sports with an eye to demonstrating cultures and ways of being unbeknownest to most people working and living in industrial, first world societies.
New World Spirits has won a long list of awards for it's independent film productions yet also works to produce commercially viable sports events and promotional/marketing materials to meet the needs of established companies such as Tourism Boards, Local Governments, Austrian Associations, Adidas Eye Protection, Camel Trophy and recently Red Bull Mediahouse.
The longtime partner of Thomas, Richard Pichler is not only a skilled camera operator for International Action Sports Events he is also an accomplished professional web designer responsible for the Red Bull Jukebox website and New World Spirits Film Creation websites both of which require extensive display of audio-visual materials such as videos and short films.
