We are hanging out now for almost 3 weeks in the Amazon area of Colombia, trying to organize a trip to some still traditional living indigenous people. But its getting harder and harder these days.

After our trip in 1999, when we visited an amazing tribe on the upper Rio Negro near the Colombian border we are eager to know how far the destruction of these independent cultures went so far.

Still ongoing missionaries, corruption in the funai, bad organization managment destroys the traditional habits of these people.

Now we are on the way to organize a trip to some Ticuna villages on the lower Putumayo river, which is know to be a hideout area for the Guerilla forces of Colombia. But thats why, I guess, we are still going for some real people. We´ll see, when we are there.
