Server log files
Each time you visit this website, the host of this website automatically stores data in server log files: your IP address, the date and time of access and the page requested.
We need this data to run the website and keep it secure, for example to detect attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). How long the server log files are kept depends on the host’s settings.
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set any cookies. We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services.
Contact form
If you write to us using the contact form, we process your name, your email address, the project type you selected and your message. We use this information only to answer your enquiry.
The form sends your details to us by email. They are not stored on the website itself. The legal basis is answering your enquiry and, where applicable, steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to reply, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply.
Videos from Vimeo and YouTube
Our films are hosted on Vimeo or YouTube. Opening a page does not yet connect to these services. Only when you click “Play”, or rest the mouse on a video on a film page, does your browser load the player from Vimeo (with the parameter “dnt=1”, which tells Vimeo not to track usage) or from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you rest the mouse on a video, the player shows a muted preview; there is no preview on devices without a mouse or with the system setting “reduce motion”. The “Watch showreel” button on the home page loads the Vimeo player only when clicked.
From that moment on, the provider receives data such as your IP address and the page you are on. After that, Vimeo or YouTube may also store data in your browser, such as cookies, under their own policies. This website itself sets none. Vimeo and YouTube (Google) may transfer the data to the USA. A level of data protection equivalent to EU law is not guaranteed there in every case; US authorities may be able to access the data. By clicking or starting the preview, you consent to the processing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and to the transfer to the USA (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future by not starting any further videos and no longer resting the mouse on videos.

Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. Loading a page does not connect to Google Fonts or any other third-party server.
