Die Säumer

Three muleteers (Säumer) from different eras, between 1500 and 1800, each tell a story from their lives. Although they lived centuries apart, they talk directly to each other, side by side in a three-way split screen. The film can be seen at the Säumermuseum in Mittersill, Pinzgau. A second film contrasts the medieval mule tracks with today’s truck traffic.
