AI film production with the eye of camera operators who have filmed outdoors for more than three decades. Generative imagery shows locations that don’t exist and scenes no camera can capture. AI video with a documentary eye
The same storytelling, a new tool. Since 1995 we have told stories from places cameras rarely reach. AI adds places no camera can reach at all: landscapes that never existed and scenes that cannot be filmed.
The work stays the same as on a shoot. We look for the story, build images with light, perspective and editing, and make sure they remain believable. In our team, Richard Pichler covers camera, photography and AI film. He brings both worlds together: experience behind the camera and the new tools.
Generative imagery, previs and hybrid films
Generative imagery means stills or moving images that an AI creates from our direction. We design them like a shot on location: with an idea, a perspective and a light that suits the story.
Previs is short for previsualisation. Before a shoot, generated images show how a scene could look. That way framing, light and locations can be discussed in advance, before a crew travels. You see early on how the film could feel.
Hybrid films combine real footage with generated images. That helps when a location does not exist or no camera could capture the image. We shoot the real footage ourselves as always, in Carinthia, elsewhere in Austria or worldwide.
